our kennels

Our kennel units are divided into 2 sections. The front is their sleeping area, this then opens up into a large outside exercise run, which is half roofed so dogs can have shade or sun as they require. 

Our facility is unique in the way all guest have visual stimulation with the rural setting, this allows fresh country air in the kennels. With this design, the whole area has a lighter atmosphere.

Due to quarantine requirements dog are required to stay in these areas for their quarantine period. Our kennels have heat lamps over beds during the winter months and large mounted heater when required to keep the chill at bay.

vaccinations required

Pethaven requires the following vaccinations:

• Canine Distemper
• Infectious Canine Hepatitis
• Canine Parvovirus
• Canine Parainfluenza and Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
• Dogs from the USA, Canada and Singapore or any country were a vaccination is available or a recent outbreak has occurred must be fully vaccinated against Canine Influenza Virus (CIV) both H3N2 and H3N8 strains – Merck Nobivac or Zoetis Vanguard

These vaccinations must be no more than 12 months old and not given within 21 days prior to arrival to Pethaven.

Grooming

All of our guests are bath and blow dried once an MPI inspector has completed the arrivals inspection. Regular brushing and skin checks helps us determine any changes to your pet's health. Also giving us important contact time for our team to bond and form a relationship with our guests.
